Donation Application

Limited funds are available for Duluth-Superior Pride to utilize excess funds to support organizations that align with the Duluth-Superior Pride's mission. Occasional financial donations are available throughout the year. If interested please complete the form below.

Application for Donations to other Organizations

Duluth Superior Pride (DS Pride) is a 501(c)(3) organization. By law, none of its staff time or resources can be used for partisan political purposes; that is, to support or oppose any candidate running for public office.
In order to maintain compliance with the law surrounding candidates running for political/public office, the Duluth Superior Pride Committee has set forth the following policy.
The Duluth Superior Pride Committee reserves the right to amend or modify this policy at its discretion or as it deems necessary to comply with the regulations governing political activities of 501(c)(3) entities.
 

Policy
It is the policy of Duluth Superior Pride not to promote or oppose individual political candidates, in any capacity at any Pride events. Individual political candidates are therefore prohibited from retaining an individual booth or participating in the Pride parade.


In compliance with state and federal law, we may require a brief application to be completed by any person(s) or organization(s) requesting donations and/or any form of financial support/assistance.

Please provide us with the following information: All information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with any individual or agency outside Duluth-Superior Pride unless required by law.

Non-Profit Status:
Can you provide receipts for the allocation of the funds requested? (We may require verification that any donation made by our organization follows within the guidelines of Duluth Superior Pride’s policies and does not conflict with our non-profit status as specified under law.)

Your request is submitted! We take great pride in supporting our local non-profit agencies. We would like to thank you for your submission. Our decision will be based on necessity and Board approval. After our Board approves your request, we will contact you if any additional information is required.
